Hi team - I'm trying to create a template that can be re-utilised by my team
all good with the creation of the template however when I try to then look for it in the main template browser it doesn't come-up nor do I have a way to share a link with the other colleagues that have access to that space. I've checked the access already, I've promoted it too but still is not visible
Any ideas ?
You can find your template by following these simple steps. E.g. I have a space template called "My Excel Template"
When you first create a page, click on "All Templates" from the bottom of the screen:
Doing so, a popup on the right side will open.
Click on "My templates" and find your template
Let me know if that solved your problem.

Hi Nicolae,
Thanks for sharing the screenshot. That helps clarify the situation.
From what I can see, you’ve created a space-level template under your space’s settings (Space settings → Content tools → Templates). That means the template is available only within this specific space — it won’t appear in the global template browser or in other spaces.
Here’s how to make it visible and reusable by your team:
1. Access Within the Same Space
Colleagues who have access to this space should be able to use the template by:
If it doesn’t appear there, try:
2. Sharing or Reusing Across Spaces
Confluence currently doesn’t allow sharing a direct link to a template or reusing it across multiple spaces automatically.
If you want the same template to be used in several spaces, you have two options:
3. If You’re Expecting a Global Template
If your intention was to create a global template (available in all spaces):
4. Known Behavior
The “Open template browser” link in the space settings only lists space-level templates. That’s why you can’t share a public link directly with teammates.
If you believe this should work differently, I recommend submitting feedback or voting for this feature request:
I hope that helps.
Greetings,
Alex
