So, my company currently uses (like many others) SharePoint and Confluence together. I am not really interested in having Confluence nested inside SharePoint; we are able to manage them separately (though as we grow, we may look into this for just ease of access). What I *am* interested in is creating some SharePoint workflows , and have them interact with Confluence workflows. For example, some workflow that starts in SharePoint because a form is submitted and when that workflow that results from that form being submitted is finished, it triggers another workflow on Confluence to create a few pages in a specific space from certain templates and update them with some information from that SharePoint for m and Azure AD. Can anyone see ho this might be accomplished? Is there a starting point for this level of cooperation between SP Online and Confluence Cloud?
Hello Charisma,
For Confluence Cloud, there's no SharePoint integration that I am aware of that would allow you to have the workflows interact with each other.
For Confluence Server, there are a few different SharePoint add-ons from Marketplace.
If the usage of SharePoint is important to your team, I would recommend setting up a Confluence Server evaluation instance and see if any of those add-ons could accomplish what you need. If they do, you might want to consider migrating to Server.
Regards,
Shannon
Agreed, and we are doing that. I guess I was hoping that there were options I might not be aware of, being as I'm new on the scene to both SharePoint and Confluence, let alone their integration. Though, I'm learning a lot! Thanks for this answer! I will continue my research and update here when I learn something.
