Set null value to alt tag?

Hi everyone,

Is there really no way for me to set the alt tag value of an image to "null"?  Yes, I found the suggested solution of setting the value to: alt="", (have tried with and without a space in front of "alt") and as noted in the solution, this only works on Confluence Server, not Cloud.  So... am I just SOL?

@DaSp I was not able to find a way to do this in cloud, there was not any documentation that provided a solution, and I was not able to get it to take a null value in cloud.   Looks like a feature request has been logged here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-20195

@Brant Schroeder Thank you for digging in to this!!!  I looked at the ticket you linked, and wow, it's been over TEN YEARS since this was requested, and the answer has been basically silence from Atlassian.  That's not good.
