Hi Guys,
I am in need of dynamically increase the row count in a table with respect to the change in the value of a variable. For example a variable var = 4 then a frame contain table should contain 4 rows, if var=5 the table must contain 5 rows. This I must achieve via Java script commands.
Hi @Sivakumar K and welcome to the community,
Out of the box you can't do that in Confluence cloud. You have to have an app which allows you to run javascript code, such as https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1222649/macrosuite-content-formatting-macros?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Hello Brother,
Actually my question is about Chili Publish editor,
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You should have "put that on the box" then :)
Since this is a another software, I would definitely look into REST API, since there isn't another way to communicate with confluence. Dynamically might be a tad difficult to achieve this, but for starters read this https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Make-a-table-on-a-Confluence-page-via-the-Rest-API-for-use-with/ba-p/2215374
