I recently renamed quite a bit of topics to follow a standard naming convention. I edited each page and updated the title, then saved.

Users are searching for key words, such a virtual switch, and it is returning the old topic name with a message that this topic was recently renamed message.

Is there something I should do to update my search? It is not returning the newly renamed topics, but the old ones...

Hello Camille,

In Confluence there is a process called "re-indexing content" that might help you with this behaviour which the "How to" is decribed below:

  • Go to the *Confluence Admin* page.
  • In the left panel, search for the *Content Indexing* page.
  • Click on the *Rebuild* button.

Please be aware that it can take a while to complete considering the side of your instance.

Best Regards,
