Confluence is reporting the following error after a SSL Cert renewal:

The remote certificate can't be trusted

Confluence may be using a self-signed SSL certificate or a certificate that was issued by a certificate authority that isn't known locally.

Hi @Fred Tabangcura ,

this is probably due to the fact that you did not import certificate into JVM. Please take a look to the following article https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/how-to-import-a-public-ssl-certificate-into-a-jvm-867025849.html

Hope this helps,

Fabio

Hi Fabio,

Yes, thank you that was the issue.  I needed to pull the crt file into the keystore.  Once I did that, I rebooted the machine and all is well.

Thank you
