Restrict editing of content on Dashboard

I have a dashboard on a page and I want to just restrict editing of the graphs but I want the user to be able to edit some of the content. Would that be possible?

You could put the content that you want the user to be able to edit on another page that is unrestricted. Then use a page include to bring that content into page with the graphs. On that page create an edit restriction and limit it to yourself (or who ever else should be able to edit the graphs.).
