Hello Atlassian Support Team,

My Confluence Cloud site was deactivated due to inactivity. I’d like to request that it be restored, if the site is still within the retention period. The site URL is: https://projectalfaomega.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FindAR/overview

Recovering this documentation is important for me, so I’d really appreciate it if you could advise on the next steps and help as soon as possible.

Thank you for your assistance,
Albert

Hello @Albert Gonzalez Muñoz

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

When was your site deactivated?

I have seen documentation that the retention period can be as short as 15 days or as long as 60 days. If it has been more than 60 days then it is unlikely the data can be recovered.

To find out if the data is recoverable and the site can be reactivated you will need to contact Atlassian directly. Here we are a user community and do not have access to help you restore a deactivated site.

To contact Atlassian directly about this complete and submit the form at their Billing, Licensing, Pricing site:

Can you tell me exactly how to do it or what's wrong with my space? I don't understand what's happening.

Atlassian reserves the right to deactivate Free subscriptions for app when the users do not interact with the content for an extended period of time. That is stated in their documentation. Since you did not access your Confluence content for an extended period of time, they deactivated your subscription and it is not currently accessible.

After deactivation Atlassian will hold the data for a limited time, giving the customer an opportunity to reactivate the subscription and recover the data. That retention time period varies depending on different factors.

We are a user community here and don't have access to your subscription information so we have no way to determine if Atlassian still has your data available for recovery.

To work with Atlassian on that, you will need to go to the page I specifies above and fill out and submit the form. That will open a case with Atlassian and they will interact with you through that case to provide you information about your app subscription.
