Rename initial space

I've created a free Confluence subscription and entered a suboptimal name & key for the first/initial space.

Is there a way to modify delete this root space?

This is actually a known bug in the free Confluence Cloud subscription.

As of this comment, the bugfix is currently waiting for release.
