Remove admins from boards, who are no longer active in the company

We have several boards where the admin is someone who is not in the company anymore. We cant remove the board, we also cant remove the member. How can I solve that?

I'm just going to ask questions to try to clarify your request so that someone here can help you out. 

When you say "boards," are you talking about Jira boards (projects), Trello boards, or another application?

Since you posted in the Confluence Questions area, are you talking about:

• your Confluence site and this user was a Site Admin or
• spaces within your Confluence site and this user was a Space Admin
