Received notification 6 days left:

lavakumar mv November 10, 2025

Below is the message I got.

On Nov 17, 2025, your team will lose access to changes, advanced incident management, problems, and post-incident reviews. Consider starting a Premium trial to keep them for 30 more days.

Please let me know whether it will impact my standard plan and the monthly billing cycle.
As mentioned above, will I lose all my change, incident, and problem, or any custom request type?

Can I get the information at the earliest?

I have created multiple projects using IT Service Management or Basic  IT Service Management and multiple request types, workflows, screens, custom fields etc...

Will I lose all the projects and request types after 6 days?

Hi @lavakumar mv and welcome to the community!

From what you're describing here, it seems that you were on Premium plan (either a trial, or a full subscription) and you have just downgraded to Standard.

You will only lose the advanced capabilities which are in the Premium plan. You may check them here: https://www.atlassian.com/collections/service/pricing

Regarding Incident and Problem Management, you will lose only the advanced capabilities, but you will still be able to open Incidents and Problems in your project.

As for Change Management, you will also still be able to open changes in your project, but you won't be able to use any of the features below. From my perspective, Change Management without Approvals is a bit like a car without wheels.

The projects and the data is not going anywhere, just that the Premium features will be locked.

The price is increased by 120% what is my alternative option?

Premium plan comes with many new features, but indeed it's more expensive.

My suggestion is to asses⁸s whether you can live without those features or not and buy the right plan for you.

If I remove the approval process in the workflow, can I still access all change workflows, or will change workflows still be impacted?

Team, any update on the above information?

Hi @lavakumar mv ! Sorry for the late reply but I'm just a regular user, like you. I'm not part of the Atlassian Support team. This is the forum, where regular users help other people having questions.

Coming back to your question, I'm pretty sure you will still be able to access the change issue type and you will also be able to use the workflow.

While I couldn't find an official answer for the change approvals, here are some answers for other features:

https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/what-happens-to-plan-data-when-subscription-is-changed/

https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/what-happens-to-assets-when-jsm-plan-is-downgraded-to-standard-free/

So, the conclusion is that data will still be retained, it will not be deleted, but the feature will not be available anymore.
