Hi - I do not yet have admin persmissions (currently requested), but in advance of that I would like to know if I have the ability to control/manage who will see the blog posts for a specific space.
I reviewed this page : https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/manage-watchers/
But it did not answer my question fully. It's not clear from that link if the control is only on a specific blog page, or if it's for all blog posts in general.
Thanks in advance.
Hi @Edward Mckenna ,
Thanks for sharing the link and your question.
Just to clarify, the page you referenced is specifically about watchers, which only controls notifications (who gets notified when blog posts or other content change). It does not control who can actually see the blog posts.
In Confluence, blog post visibility is mainly controlled at the space permission level. So anyone who has permission to view the space will be able to see the blog posts published in that space.
If you need to restrict visibility further, you can also apply page restrictions on individual blog posts after they are created, limiting them to specific users or groups.
Once you receive admin permissions, you should be able to review these settings in Space Settings -> Permissions.
Hope this helps clarify things.
