Sometimes when I try to add another macro like an info panel, table or layout within an excerpt macro the macro get placed below the excerpt and not within it like I want it to. But I know it can work because I have done it before and I simply copy and paste it from other pages to continue using it.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Edit: this also happens when trying to add a table to an info panel. But I know it works because I can simply copy an info panel from another page that already has a table in it and simply modify the table to suite my needs.
@Jegues, Philippe welcome to the Atlassian Community.
You are likely copying an info panel with the embedded table from a page that was created using the legacy editor. Nesting of these elements in the new editor is not possible. This is why your excerpts and info panels are not populating with the second macro you are trying to place in it.
Also, I have moved this from Questions for Confluence - which is a collection for content related to the Atlassian owned application Questions for Confluence - to the Confluence Questions collection.
Good luck!
