I would like to collect data from a table on multiple pages and display them in an overview on one page.

For example I scope software features and during the scoping process I collect multiple questions that I administrate in a table at the bottom of the page.

This table contains 3 columns 'Question', 'Answer', 'Date'

At the end all questions from all different scoped features need to be answered before the scoping can be finalized.

Because these questions are spread over multiple scoping pages it would be very helpful if I could generate a list on a page called "Open Questions" that displays all questions that don't have an Answer (Answer == EMPTY).

Can this be done?

Hi @Falco van der Maden,

Did you already find a good solution to this problem? As @Uwe Tewes has suggested, using the Page Properties macros and reporting on these values might be a way to go. However, this requires you to set up one page for each question, right? If you have multiple questions per page that you want to manage and report on, I think Page Properties will not be able to do the job anymore. And there are also other limitations of Page Properties that you'd run into rather quickly with this approach.

I believe a better way to achieve what you want to do here would be to use an app by my team at K15t: Orderly Database for Confluence. It's like a better version of Page Properties and I think it does exactly what you need: For each of your projects you could create a new Orderly Database which could look like this:

And in that same view, you could filter for questions that don't have an answer yet:

But the coolest part about it is that you can embed your questions database into any Confluence page via a macro, and work with it as if it was a normal table on that page:

Not only can you edit the database from right there, but you can also apply filters, or only embed single rows or values into your page. I think this is perfect for your use case!

If you want to give it a shot, you can try it for free for 30 days here. In fact, if your team consists of 10 people or less, it is completely free to use!

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Sven
