Query re setting up a Confluence Template with multiple pages and sub pages

Hi, 

I want to set up a template which includes a title page, and within that several pages and sub / child pages with specific naming conventions. 

Naming conventions = XXX-YYY-000: Process Name 

• XXX=Acronym for business area or project
• YYY= Type of Automation (RPA, IDP etc)
• 000= Process number automated for that particular department. 
• Process Name: Work / process being automated

What I want to know is if I want to update the relevant naming convention in different parts of the template can I update this in one place and have this auto update across the template, in the naming convention and also within the documents themselves?

Hi @Haley 

Unfortunately you can't do this with templates. I was struggling with that months ago and I solve that by using automations in Confluence.

That's a shame, it would be such a useful feature! 

Which automation did you use if you don't mind me asking?

Or how did you go about setting it up?
