Problem Adding Jira issues to Confluence calendar

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
When I try to add an event to a Confluence Calendar using Jira issue dates, I only see 3 single dates (I guess defaults) and not the custom dates I like to use. It doesn't matter which project I choose, it shows always the same 3 dates (see screen shot)
I want to use the calendar to show the leave requests made in Jira.
I searched everywhere but I could not found a solution. Jira and Confluence are on the latest version, iCalendar is enabled on the Jira server and the application links between Jira and Confluence do work.
Any help is more than welcome.
