Permissions for Next-gen JIRA Roadmap in Confluence

Members of my company who are not JIRA users are unable to see this roadmap. 

What permission do they need to have in a next-gen JIRA project to be able to see this Roadmap?

Like Jira Filters, I would expect the users will need at least view access to the Next-Gen project (role: Viewer).

The roadmap is a visualisation of the data in Jira - so the users will need access to this data in that platform to also see it in Confluence.
