As of today pasting links to Jira and Confluence into Confluence Cloud is broken. Previously it would paste a smart inline link. Today nothing seems to happen and then several minutes later a Jira Legacy card appears instead.
If I edit a page that had smart inline links to Jira or Confluence yesterday, today they're just linked URLs.
The only way I can add links to Jira is to copy an existing URL link (from before this madness) and then edit it.
What's going on?
Pasted smart inline links from Confluence & Jira in Confluence are now working as expected for me. Existing content created before today is showing some links as URLs. I don't have the time to fix these individually, so I hope they all revert to smart inline links.
I hope it's fixed for everyone.
Just checked now, and seeing the same. Most links are back to smart links, but there are some we'll have to manually re-add.

I similarly am experiencing users seeing links to Jira issues that they have access to view resolve to regular URLs rather than smart links or inline cards. I can still force the URL to Inline to display as a smart link, but if they're left as URLs they do not automatically go to smart links.
I've tried clearing cache/using a different browser, I've ensured I have the appropriate permissions, and I've ensured my display preferences are set to view the links as smart links. No dice on all three. Appears to be a genuine issue, but would be great to get a confirmation from the Atlassian team.

Our team is also experiencing the same issues that Karen and Kenneth presented. We tried using the command + K shortcut, changing the URL type, and looking up page titles to insert links, but all links are rendering as URL text.

Thanks @Emmanuel Jose, @Alex Wozniak and @Kenneth Giorno
I am relieved to hear it's not just me! Now over to Atlassian for a solution please.
