Panel macro not working after space copy

Hi guys,

We are using confluence for our online documentation / user guide.

Our latest version doc is one space, but we also archive to other spaces for previous versions of our software.

Our home page consists of Panel macro widgets with feature pages which are selected by given labels.

However, when we archive / copy space to another these widgets don't work, event though labels are copied just fine.

Do you perhaps have an idea how to workaround this problem?

Hi Vlada,

Thank you for confirming that. It appears that indeed the Content by Label macro no longer works at least as of 5.10.X according to the bug ticket CONFSERVER-43769. We can verify it worked as of 5.7.

Can you confirm your Confluence version so we can see if this applies to you?

I can't verify earlier work, unfortunately.

Our current version is 5.10.2.

Hello Vlada,

Do you happen to have any filters set on the Content By Label macros? I've conducted a test on my own instance, and I'm able to break it when I have a filter set, for example, labels for Current Space only.

Yes, I have Current space filter.

I was able to copy labels now, but for some reason I am not able to Archive space to verify if labels will apply then.

I will get back with update as soon as I have it.

Hi Shannon,

I've reproduced the issue.

Labels are gone now that I've archived the space.

So, Content by label macro doesn't work while space is archived.

Any ideas how to fix it?
