Hi @sravani vennapusa ,

Users could check if they are:

  • Watching the page, space, or blog

  • Subscribed to Daily Digest emails

  • Have "Autowatch" enabled (automatically watches content they edit or create)

Potentially, there is some kind of automation rule that sends these emails, so you could check that as well. 👀

If you could share what the notification looks like, maybe we could troubleshoot this more easily.

Cheers,
Tobi

The notification is with page name itself also there are no automation rules for that space.

@Sravani Vennapusa can you maybe take a screenshot of the notification (you can blur/remove sensitive content)

Some key things to take a look at:

  • Who is the sender of the email
  • What's the title of the email
  • What's the email body

You could also reach out to Atlassian Support if that's easier, as they can probably see how the emails are going out of the system toward the mentioned users (how are they 'subscribed')

Hi Sravani,

You can check/change:

1. Stop watching specific pages/spaces — users should go to their profile → Watches and click Stop watching for pages/spaces they don’t want emails from.

2. Turn off “Autowatch” — under profile → Email settings, disable “Autowatch” so Confluence doesn’t auto‑add you as a watcher when you edit or comment.

3. Customize Email Settings — in profile → Settings → Email → Edit, uncheck notification types (e.g. edit notifications, blog updates, daily digest) you don’t want.

They don't want to turn off their notifications as they want the updates from the page. but they are getting emails every 10 minutes which is an auto generated one. I have removed the users from watchers that didn't worked out.

Thanks.
