We have been trying to expose select pages from Confluence to the public without success. My most recent attempt was to create a new space with a test page with nothing but a title. The public link is turned on and when I attempt to find the page in another browser, the content is not found.
On the Share dialog, it says General Access Open to Anyone in this space and the public link is on. Is the issue related to the "anyone in this space"?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Nm - figured it out. I would have cancelled the questions but unable to determine how to do that.
Hey Mark, the "Open to Anyone in this space" setting only controls access within your Confluence site.
It does not make pages visible to unauthenticated users on the public web. That is a native Confluence limitation, not a configuration issue on your end.
If you need pages to be genuinely public, check out Public Pages for Confluence on the Atlassian Marketplace. That is exactly what it is built for.
