Page preview shows header / content / footer on preview and is unusable once a page is published

Charlie Cronin September 7, 2023

Hi there.

Screenshot below shows page preview prior to publishing - everything looks fine.

Page is published and then edited. Note page headers and footers are added to all our pages (via space Look and Feel).

Screenshot below shows preview of page. The header, content and footer are displayed in three columns. Is this a configuration thing? Can we turn the header and footer off the preview. Even if I make the head and footers a single character the preview still looks poor. I'd expect a preview to show the header at the top and footer at the bottom. Not left and right.

Thanks for your time

Hi Charlie, I think I found your issue on Atlassian's Jira site (jira.atlassian.com): CONFSERVER-43411

If that's it, feel free to vote for and watch it for updates.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply. That is indeed the issue we are seeing. JJ Obrien's post of 07/02/2018 looks to have resolved the issue albeit the headers and footers disappear from the preview but we can live with that.

I have watched and voted as you suggest.

Thanks again.

Charlie
