I was given permission to a restricted page, however, every time I try to edit or update the page I get a popup with this message:
"You are not permitted to perform this operation."
We've tried removing and re-adding my account to the page and it still fails. Please provide any assistance to this issue.

Maybe you only have permission to view the page and not edit it. That are separate restrictions.
Can you edit other pages in that space? If not, you'll need that space permission.
