Page moving - question about redirection

Hi,

I need to move multiple pages from a space A to a space B. 

I have tested the 'move' option and it works great - links directing to the old space are redirecting me to the new space.

But as we have tons of presentations with links directed to the old space, I need to be 100% sure that the redirection will always work, even a year or two from now on ;-)

Would you be so kind to confirm that? If there is even a slightest chance that links will eventually break it will be a red light for this action.

Hello Lucyna,

Thank you for your question. I'm happy to help. When you move pages in Confluence, it updates the database with the new location, and any in-app links are automatically adjusted. I wouldn't expect this to break in the future.

If you encounter any issues with that, have your Cloud admin raise a ticket with support. We can have a look at that for you.
