Page load very slow with PDFs

Hi,

While uploading PDFs( of under 1 mb) on a confluence page, load time becomes too high. We observed this with a page having 2 PDFs uploaded as macros. Not sure what's the issue is as there's no issue with the internet connection or speed. Also, is this due to free plan as we are currently in the pilot mode before we adopt the paid version for entire team?

What do you mean exactly by "uploaded as macros"?

You've added them as attachment (with a preview)?
