Hi,
I am the Confluence admin for our Line of Business (LoB) and we currently have two Confluence spaces viz., Internal-facing and External-facing. One of my colleagues recently highlighted an issue with Confluence. Please see the details below:
Confluence has this left hand side navigation feature which makes it quite easy for user to navigate to any page he desires. My colleague shared with me a confluence page link which when clicked opens up as a new confluence space. In this new space are several parent and child pages. When I click on a child page in this new space, the page tree for that space collapses and I am redirected to the page desired but on the left hand side the page tree we see is the page tree of the external facing Confluence space which I mentioned in the beginning of my message.
I think that since this new space is not part of already existing internal-facing or external-facing spaces, the page tree collapses and we loose the navigation functionality. Moving this new space under already existing spaces should solve this problem. Can someone please confirm? If this is not correct, can someone please advise how to resolve this issue?
Thank you,
Indira
Hi @Indira Damavajhala , I realize this is a rather old post and I was interested to understand what you finally concluded here if anything? Could you please share the latest findings or solution for this?
