Is there any way to format the Page Properties report data to look more like a table with alternating rows and borders for visual appeal?

We can suggest trying our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.

The app provides the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros that allow you to collect multiple-row tables and show a great variety of page meta data:

• parent page
• space
• labels
• excerpt
• author
• last modifier
• created
• updated

The report data will look as a regular manually created Confluence table.

never yet tried it, but probably by customizing the css with even/odd it could be possible to do something :-)
