Any ways I do an automation to export confluence page as pdf? I will receive email when there are edits made in the webpage and I was wondering if I could auto capture the link, visit the page, export as pdf. If not maybe upon edits made in confluence, it will export as pdf?
Hello @luoqian - are you considering Marketplace apps for your export needs? If so, we (K15t) develop Scroll PDF Exporter and offer a REST API for the app which you can use to trigger your page/page tree exports from Confluence. This means you could create your own script to automate when you want your exports to be scheduled. Would this be an option? Regards, Thomas (K15t)
Hello @luoqian
I do not think there is a native way to do page edited -> export page as PDF automatically. Cloud supports the Page edited automation trigger, and it supports manual PDF export from the page menu, but I do not see a built-in automation action for PDF export. So for full automation, I would look at either a Marketplace app or an external service triggered by Send web request.
"Public Link" can be Workaround, as it stay Stale and always showing Actually Changes.
