When I try to export a page to PDF which has a numbered list on it, it doesn't increment automatically. All the numbers are rendered as 1.
I am working around with a pure text numbering, but it's a bit annoying.
Any fixes?
Hey @MARCOS SGORLA ,
I'm going to assume you're using the built-in PDF export functionality provided by Confluence, and not some other exporting app.
My immediate thought is that sounds like a bug in the system. Do you have any marketplace apps that are used to modify the content of the page? Anything adjusting the CSS or HTML content?
If you're not using any marketplace apps, I think your best course of action would be to open a support ticket directly with Atlassian. You can do so on support.atlassian.com.
I did take a look through Atlassian's public bug portal (jira.atlassian.com/browse) and was not able to find an open issue related to your report. So this could be something specific to your site that Atlassian will need to investigate.
Cheers,
Robert
Hi Robert. Thanks for your answer. I narrowed down the problem and found that the error only happens when I break the numbering sequence. Although it works properly on the page, it does not on the PDF.
I don't use any marketplace apps. As far as I know the PDF export I use is native...

Hey @MARCOS SGORLA , great testing!
Seems like this is a bug with the platform, and not something that can be easily fixed.
Two things I would recommend:
As for a workaround, it seems like you've already found a good one, using plain text numbering instead of the built-in numbered list macro.
You can also explore exporting apps for Confluence. I personally enjoy K15t's Scroll Exporter tools, but there are plenty available on the Marketplace. I encourage you to take a look at the Marketplace and see if anything catches your eye.
Cheers,
Robert

As Robert mentioned, some PDF export apps in the marketplace won't export some macros correctly—especially those from third-party apps.
Are you using the numbered headings app or a similar one?

Hi Aaron. I am not using any marketplace apps. See on my reply to Robert some more info and snips. Thanks for your help.
