×I was editing a post when Confluence froze. When the page refreshed I was locked out of the article that I was editing.
Is there a way to unlock the post? I also am not able to delete the post to start over.
Confluence doesn't have anything like "lock" functionality, so I'm rather stuck on understanding what you are seeing here.
The closest I can think of is that there are restrictions you can add to a page, so if someone else has added a "only people/groups of X can edit the page (and you're not in that rule)", that would be why you can no longer edit it. You'll need to get in touch with someone who has the right to apply those restrictions to get it removed or yourself included.
Hey @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- thanks for such a quick response.
I have edit rights for the section where I am trying to post. When clicking on the article that I started to post I am seeing the following in place of the URL. Our administrator cant access the post either.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
That's not a confluence url, it's a settings page in your browser.
What happens when you go to the Confluence page you were trying to edit?
