Our Wiki stopped working

Access to our Wiki stopped working. I can ping the server but when i try to access the site I get an error. 

 

This is a linux distribution.

Could you explain 

  • "stopped working"
  • what you get when you try to "access the site"
  • what the error is you see on-screen
  • what the logs ( <confluence home>/logs/atlassian-confluence.log ) say the problem is?
