Hi All,
Our company was acquired and we have been migrated out of the Microsoft environment. We have spent about 6 years developing client process notebooks in OneNote. The best external app I found to replace OneNote was Zoho Notebook, but then my Jira Admin suggested that we use Confluence because of the integration with Jira.
I played around with setting up one of these notebooks in Confluence and found it to be a bit cumbersome. I tested the OneNote conversion apps in the marketplace and they don't work very well and keep erroring. Cutting and pasting strips out all of my formatting and disconnects attached PDFs.
So if you have any great tips & tricks to share I would greatly appreciate them!
Hi @Karol Peake from a google search, I could be wrong, but I didn't find anything on a native conversion process. I did find this older Atlassian Community article with a few options: Import-to-Confluence-from-One-Note
The article does include (at the beginning) information regarding Confluence Server, you can ignore that.
It sounds like there are several Atlassian Marketplace apps to convert the data to Confluence, so you might want to check there. I haven't used any of them, so I don't want to pick one for you that doesn't work.
I did find a work item related to OneNote. Feel free to vote for and watch CONFCLOUD-30883
Hope that helps
I have already tried the two I found in the marketplace and both just errored. They have 1 & 2 stars from the users, so I think they are problematic for a lot of people.
