Hello Community ,

NEED HELP !

After loading attachments using (…) more option , I just went to normal page in space and I navigated to my edit page , placing cursor in specific location and selecting Excel macro for finding list of attached file values in field name ( Its available ) in this case .

Problem here  is below

For specific page , using panels .  Attachment I have loaded and navigated to edit page of panel and placing cursor in specific panel location and selecting Excel macro NO list of attached file values available in field name ( Its not available ) .

Please find my attachments on my problem

What would be the reason ? How to fix this ?

I appreciate your effort and time . ATT.PNGATT2.PNGATT3.PNGATT4.PNG

Hi @Maha vishnu v

Seems the page name contains “:” in between.

When using macros where it intends to fetch/display attachments, words before : in “Page Name” is considered to be a space name and after : is considered as page name.  So, with confluence’s perspective it’ll try to look for matching attachments based on matching space and page name. That’s why you don’t get attachment list.

Please try removing : in page name and Save the page. Then Edit page and look for attachment. It should work!

Hi @Maha vishnu v

I had similar problems when uploading an excel sheet for the first time on the site. My idea for solving would be:

  • try to update publish the site first - then edit again, it should work
  • if not - try using the app/macro outside of the panel and drop it inside the panel

Hope this helps!
