I wrote an app PHP/Python and REST API that generates a site-specific page modifying a date from the original confluence page. The problem is that the number headings are not visible in the generated page. When I edit the page and select, and then deselect number headings, they suddenly become visible in the editor. After that I don't even have to update the edited page (I click close) and the number headings stay visible.
To make the matter worse, using REST API I download the generated page before and after this "edit", compare them using diff and they are completely the same.
This behavior seems very strange and like a confluence issue.
I'm using Confluence version 7.13.7
