Hello
How can I set up emails notifications triggered by date not by action in Confluence?
I've got a table of tasks with different due dates throughout the year and ideally I would like to get a reminder notification to my email that I need to start working on particular task.
If this something possible to do in Confluence?
Hello @Vlad Kim !
As I understand, you want to receive emails based on the due dates set for your tasks.
Currently, reminders for Task Due Dates are not available in Confluence. Some time ago, a similar feature was suggested here:
I was also unable to find a third-party application that provides such feature.
If you visit your Profile in Confluence and go to the Tasks tab, all the tasks assigned to you are listed there. More details about it:
- Action items - Add action items by using the Action items button in the toolbar and mentioning another user. Whoever you first mention on that line is assigned the action item. Assigning someone an action item looks like this:
Items like this show up on Dan Morgan’s tasks list under his profile, and he can tick them off as he does them. The due dates turn red if they become overdue. He can also filter them by date, completion, and whether they were assigned to him or created by him from here. If he'd prefer to see these on another page, he can also use the Task Report Macro.
