Not getting notifications when I am @mentioned

Hello, 

Looks like it is not possible to get an email notification if I @ mention myself, however I don't get an email when someone else edits the same page and @ mentions me. 

Any idea why this is happening? Is it because I've already been mentioned on that page?

We did some testing and it looks like I DO get notifications from different pages when I'm @ mentioned. So my conclusion is that I won't get email notifications if I'm the creator of the page and have already mentioned myself. I had someone mention me again on my page and I did not get the notification.
