Hi,
due to a problem with Loom, I had to temporarily delete my account, associated with my email, which I use as an admin in confluence. I knew, I will be able to "reactivate" it later.
I switched the account back on today, but cannot access the admin panel of the site anymore. It shows the alert "Permission required. Request access from your administrator."
I checked, if I am still the admin and added somebody to the system and I still get the admin emails. But, when I try to add the person, it takes me back to the "permission required"-page.
Does anybody know, how I can solve the problem?
Best,
Flo
Hi @Florian Hartl _ Tailory GmbH
Thanks for contacting Atlassian Community.
I have verified internally, you are still listed as the site admin of your Confluence site. Also, your account is active in Atlassian.
You should be able to log in to the site without any issues. If you experience any permission problems when accessing the site, please ensure that you are logging in with the correct email account.
Also, you can try accessing the site in an incognito browser window.
Hope this helps.

Atlassian Support
Hi Rashibh,
thanks for the help and now it works. I didn't even login, but the access was granted directly. Maybe it just needed a little bit more time, since my personal account has been deleted before. Thanks again for the support.
Best,
Flo

@Florian Hartl _ Tailory GmbH I am assuming that you are the only admin on Confluence and at the org level. I am assuming that if the Atlassian account was deleted it would remove admin access. Since you are on a free account I will escalate to the support team. They will be able to see the status of the account and the history on the applications and should be able to help you. If someone else is an org admin on the applications or a confluence admin you will need to work with them to get access.

Hi Brant,
thanks for your help and yes, this is what I assume as well. Thanks for escalating it to the support team. Hope that helps.
Thanks again and have a nice day
Best,
Flo
