No prompt to login when accessing page via link

When someone tries to access a space/page via a link and has not yet signed into the browser they receive the below error

Screenshot 2025-05-14 123757.png

I understand that they are receiving this message because they haven't signed in, but it leads the end users to think their account doesn't have access as opposed to the fact that they aren't logged in.

Is there a way to push people to a sign in page in this scenario?

@Trevor de Souza Reading the message in the screenshot, it looks like there is something wrong with the link—it is not going to a page that exists. You might want to go to the page you are giving people access to and check the link to make sure that you have given them a correct link.

Thanks for your response Barbara.

The link is correct and the page exists because if I open that same link in a browser that has a logged in account which has permissions the page opens as expected.

@Trevor de Souza That's odd. I would expect them to be directed to a page to log on if that is the issue. The message they receive doesn't make sense if the link is correct.
