No header on confluence cloud space homepage

When I create a homepage for a given space it does not inherit the space-wide header and footer. Every other page has the header/footer, and if I swap to a new choice of homepage it now has the same problem. This makes for a fairly inconsistent navigation experience for end users. Does anyone know a way around this?

I am using Confluence Cloud with the new editor (not that it really seems to matter when it comes to the afterthought of header markdown, which barely works.)

Hello @Ben Loveday !

Thanks for sharing this with us. As I understand, any customization applied via Header and Footer in your space is not applied to the Space Overview page.

Currently, there is a bug report that tries to tackle this very situation. You can take a look into it:

The best course of action would be to vote and watch the ticket. Voting for it increases the ticket visibility and watching it will keep you up to date with everything posted there.
