No Articles Auto-Generated from Jira Customer Portal

I have a Jira project that is linked to a Confluence space. The space is set so any active user can view the space, so no special permissions/roles are needed. When a customer is at the customer portal for the Jira project and try to search for ANY article, none come up. We are running Confluence version 7.5.2 and Jira version 8.9.1. Anyone know what could be causing this issue?

  • Are internal users able to see the knowledge base articles populate?
  • Have you tried adding labels to the knowledge base article and on the request type in the JSD project?

Sorry, when I say "customers", these are all internal users. I was just referring to Service Desk Customers who enter in the project's Customer Portal to create a ticket.

I added a label to one article and searched for the label with no success. When I go to the "People who can view" function in Confluence and search up my test user account, it does not show up.
