New users not seeing (JIRA) team calendar in confluence

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I have a team calendar on our Confluence main page that is pulling issues from a JIRA board. I can see it just fine and so can another co-worker but we added two more co-workers and they can see the calendar but nothing shows populated on the calendar.
I've already verified there are no view restrictions in place on the calendar.
