New in confluence world.

Good afternoon, I come from an old software called Lotus Notes and I want to know if I can do similar things with confluence. I have a few questions

• I have an account with Confluence Cloud at the moment.
• The server or datacenter version is for downloading and installing on my own servers or can it also be used online with Atlassian? Are there free versions?
• Can I create templates with editable fields and calculated fields?
• Can I create list fields (dropdown) based on data from other pages or customized?
• Dropdowns cannot be edited once the new page is saved?
• Can I create views or tables of contents with custom columns, based on page fields?

The server/data center versions available for downloading are only for installing on your own servers. You can have a version installed on your own servers and you can use the Cloud version SaaS offering from Atlassian in parallel.

There is a free version available for the SaaS/Cloud version. Refer to pricing information here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/pricing

I'll have to defer to more experienced Confluence users for the other questions.
