New editor: how to show PDF as link rather than tile

In the old editor I could drag and drop a PDF on to a page, select it,  and get an option to show as a link. What is the equivalent in the new editor? I am stumped.

I am afraid you are still unable to do it with the new editor. A possible workaround may be adding the PDF as a page attachment (instead of dragging and dropping) and then using the link to the attachment. The downside is that it may prompt users to download the file instead of opening it.

I'm also curious to hear more feedback on this issue.

Thank you, I'll try that. What a shame that it's no longer simple. I saw something about changing the page template to use the old editor that I am hoping is valid. I don't see the template when I display them, but have hopes that the admin can get it.
