Name change is not reflected on Confluence wikis

I use Confluence at Amazon. I had corrected the spelling of my name after I joined Amazon. It's been updated everywhere else but not in Confluence. It still populates the old spelling. Does Confluence update system every year?

It all depends on how your account syncs with the application.  Are you the Jira admin?  You might have to run a directory sync to get the change to come over.  Can you look at the directory and see when it last synced?
