My calendar in Confluence is missing the day/week/month selector. How can I enable that option?

I have a calendar in Confluence that is missing the day/week/month selection option.   This might be a "Team calendar" (whatever that is), and/or an embedded calendar (not sure what that means exactly, or how to determine if that's what I'm using)

I think the calendar exists in a "page" within a Confluence page hierarchy.  Is that the typical way to do it?

The Confluence version is 9.2.13

Any idea how to enable the day/week/month selection option?

Calendars embedded in a page based on an existing one don't show the option to switch between day/week/etc.

Calendars on a page based on the macro Team Calendar, the view is defined by the setting given in the macro, the options to switch can't be used here.
