Metrics for Team Calendars for Confluence

Is there any way to collect metrics from the Team Calendars for Confluence.

This would allow us to track the amount of leave taken and prevent conflicts?

Is there a way to integrate Team Calendars with JIRA Portfolio?

Hi James,

There are no metrics in Team Calendars. What kind of information were you looking for? I can see if we have an open feature request for it.

As for the Portfolio integration, we do have feature requests for integration with Confluence itself, it's not currently a feature:

• CONFSERVER-37712 Create a Confluence Roadmap from a JIRA Portfolio Plan

You could comment on perhaps the first one regarding your Team Calendar integration requirements, and it can be considered.

We would like to collect metrics on the number of specific events to track for instance the number of leave days, meetings, etc. in the same was that a timesheet works.

Is would also be great if the calendar entries affected project schedules.

For your reports, there are a few suggestions here that might relate to your query:

• CONFSERVER-51114 - Ability to report on events by event type and an event field
• CONFSERVER-51168 - Report View for People Calendar

For the schedule, it sounds like something that could potentially be done with Jira Portfolio in the future. I was able to find this feature request for that:

Hi Shannon,

If the Calender feature in Confluence can be enhanced to get the metric of the total leaves submitted in the Calender ,based on the leave types of a team, it would be easy for squads to plan their Capacity for the sprint easily with less efforts.
