Maximum Element Depth limit (1000) exception in Confluence server

Peter Danko March 8, 2023 edited

We are experiencing issue with "Maximum Element Depth limit" when trying to save page. Did somebody bump to the same issue?

Error from Confluence page: There was an error processing the request

Log:

Caused by: javax.xml.stream.XMLStreamException: Maximum Element Depth limit (1000) Exceeded

I tried to set this Java parameter but didn't work -> "com.ctc.wstx.maxEntityDepth"

Thank you for any help,

Peter.

Hi @Peter Danko ,

this is a bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-81464

it should be resolved as soon as possible.

Hope this helps,

Fabio

Thank you @Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_. Mentioned bug has been created for "Maximum entity expansion count limit", does the same bug covers also "Maximum Element Depth limit" system property?
