Macroses and plugins for confluence

Olga Alekseeva November 22, 2019

Hello!

I want to gather some information about using of our inner knowledge base in Confluence. For example, the average amount of time a user spends on the page, average time of reading article and so on. Can you advice me some good plugins or macroses for server Confluence version 6.9.0 (except Google Analytics)?

I'd take a look at the "Viewtracker" app  (There was another promising one, but Atlassian acquired them a while ago, and seems to be intending to use it just for Cloud)

Bear in mind that "time spent on page" and "average time of reading" are usually dreadfully useless metrics.  I often have loads of tabs open in my browser, and I'm only reading one of them.  And I sometimes open a page and wander off elsewhere, often for hours.  You have no way of knowing the end-time of "reading" or "time on page"
