Macros in demo version

I seem to be unable to edit the Confluence macros or add macros of my own in the seven-day demo version. Am I limited to inserting macros in this version?

The demo simply expires and stops working.   There is no difference in functionality between an active and demo system before they expire.

Could you give us more detail about "unable to edit or add"?  Error messages?  Symptoms?
