Macros (and content using macros, obviously) randomly disappear and reappear

I am using some macros on my some of my pages; Excel, Include etc.. They seem to disappear from the Macro Browser and the content is no longer displayed. Just as mysteriously they disappear, the come back. What makes them come back (other than time) is not obvious. Restarting browser/computer does not do it.
Any idea what is going on?
